Inbal Newman is a printmaker and textile artist exploring seafaring and craft through a feminist lens. She has attended residencies in the U.S. and Canada, and was the recipient of the President’s Medal from the Ontario College of Art Design, where she completed a Masters of Design degree. She graduated with a BFA from Parsons School of Design in New York, after which she spent years as a letterpress printer and tall ships deckhand. Inbal currently lives and sails in Mi’kma’ki (Nova Scotia).
